Tomahawk Steak with Robbie O’s
INGREDIENTS

1x 24 oz tomahawk steak
Salt and pepper to taste
Robbie O’s Legendary Steak Sauce
Two friends that appreciate great food*

INSTRUCTIONS

Prepare the Steak: Remove the tomahawk steak from the fridge at least one hour before cooking to bring it to room temperature. This ensures even cooking.

Season: Pat the steak dry with a paper towel to remove any moisture. Season generously with coarse salt and pepper on all sides.

Preheat the Grill: Heat your grill to a high temperature of 200°C (400°F) to ensure a nice sear on the steak.

Grill the Steak: Place the steak directly on the grill over high heat. Grill covered for 5-6 minutes on each side to develop a rich, golden crust. For added visual appeal, rotate the steak 45 degrees halfway through grilling on each side to create diamond grill marks.

Move to Indirect Heat: After searing, move the steak to a cooler part of the grill (indirect heat) and continue cooking for 10 more minutes or until your meat thermometer reaches your desired doneness; aim for an internal temperature of 135°F for medium or 54°C 130°F for medium-rare.

Rest the Steak and Chill: Once your steak is grilled to perfection, remove it from the heat and let it rest. Cover it loosely with foil for about 10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat and gives you enough time to ensure your guests are well hydrated.
